Description

Artist Allison Newsome has consistently worked through her theme of “the wilderness and the gardens as a state of mind,” bringing new meaning to earthworks. (– Nancy Whipple Grinnell, curator Newport Art Museum). Newsome is also this year’s recipient of the Rhode Island state council of the Arts Grant Award.
