Description
The work in Lost examines the tension between the creation of knowledge and the attachment to belief. Most belief systems are founded on a written text, Holy Scriptures, manifestos, constitutions, textbooks, etc. The interior space of the six rusted metal boxes that comprise the installation are cavernous tombs filled with stacks of paper, books and boxes. Brief presents an installation that holds metaphorical regarding people’s desire for evidence of truth in their held beliefs.
